About me
I’ve been playing music since I was 5 and it’s always been my #1 passion. I started with classical piano and then played cello in school orchestras from age 8-18. I started teaching myself guitar when I was 14 after I went to a Springsteen show at the Meadowlands and thought it looked awesome. I also sing and play drums and bass.
My biggest musical influences are the Beatles, Eric Clapton, Green Day, and Foo Fighters. My musical heroes are George Harrison, Dave Grohl, and Taylor Swift — all people who I think have taken admirable risks and broken out of the molds people tried to put them in!
I’ve played with local groups and solo in recent years. I played with the Kentlands Acoustic Jam and with a rock cover trio called CMS. I also did a few solo acoustic gigs, and am currently in rehearsals with two full rock cover bands. I play guitar in one and bass in the other. Both groups hope to start gigging in Summer/Fall 2023.
I take tremendous joy in sharing music with people, whether it’s through playing for them or with them! I think music is the purest expression of the human soul, and I am forever grateful that I have the privilege of being a musician.
